Diana's Inferno
A downloadable prototype for Windows
The Divine Tragedy: Diana's Inferno is a 2D puzzle platformer playing homage to The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. Rather than descending into Hell, then ascending into Paradise, the player will ascend out of Hell. The player takes control of Diana as she traverses the 9 circles of Hell, Purgatory, and beyond. The only thing stopping her from climbing her way to absolution is her willpower. Hazards and enemies will make her escape difficult, ever flinging her back down into Hell.
This prototype level, referred to as "Castle of Perdition," showcases the core gameplay: influencing the platforms around you. This simple mechanic can be utilized in clever ways to traverse the area.
To exit the game, you must use Alt + F4 or beat the level.
